Horrible everything! Read before taking lessons.. In December 2021 I went into the store and spoke with Courtney about guitar lessons. At the time I was told they were running a promotion for lessons for the price of three so I purchased it for $75 it was put on a gift card. In January 2022 I received two phone calls saying they had a new Student open house to days were offered to me and I took off work that Saturday to attend. I was told by the gentleman this was a requirement or else I had to pay the initiation new student fee. When me and my family showed up that Saturday and told them we were there for the new student Open house we were looked at with confusion there was no such event and the gentleman who told us about it was not there at the time. I believe his name was Stephen. When we went back the summer of 22 to start our lessons we were told by Courtney that the prices have gone up and I had to pay more for the lessons, he set us up on a Thursday for our first lesson we went had a great experience and just thought we would call for our next appointment. I know Molly called us a few times trying to set up appointments nothing fit our schedule. Just last week Molly called me to tell me we have zero credits left on our account . After talking with her I realized they give you set appointments and if you miss them you get docked for that lesson. I was surprised I have zero paperwork showing any of this information zero paperwork showing that my lessons are set what day they were and what happens if we do not attend. Mollys said she would talk to the store manager Stephen and give me a call back at 5 o’clock which 5 o’clock came and went and I did not receive a phone call with follow up from Molly. I did tell Molly that if this was the case and I lost my credits I will make all the reviews on all formats about the situation . I understand it’s not Mollys‘s fault she was trying to resolve a problem but the lack of communications through this whole process is astounding.

Some staff were GREAT and some acted like I wasn't there. The sale prices were good and the store was easy to navigate with free lesson offers avaliable on every instrument. Overall a good experience but about 3 out of 6 staff could use a customer service lesson.

So disappointed. I sent my friend to Guitar Center in Pineville. She wants to start learning to play the guitar. She needs a cheap acoustic. The guy who "helped" her said it'll be $500 to start (should be MAYBE $150 at most). She asked for help and advice. He pointed to the acoustic room and said, "it's in there." and didn't go with her or offer to help. I'll never go back to that location. I'm sending her to Sam Ash next. I love Guitar Center, and now I can't recommend that anyone goes to that location.

Yes, but mostly they would consign your gear.
This is a new location opening today. Like others have said, they sell both new and used.
Yes, the last two answers are correct. They do have them, but pretty much everyone has gone to smart phone tuner apps. They are very accurate. Search for ukulele tuner on the app store. Usually free.
