I recently tried to purchase a set of stackable washer/ dryer. While Lowes had a fast variety on display I soon became woefully frustrated. It seemed NOTHING was available to purchase not even units which were currently advertised on sale. There were at least 12 customers besides me, waiting to be helped. There was only ONE sales associate. FRUSTRATING! When it was my turn I pointed to the units I was ready to purchase right then. I was told the dryer was available but not the washer. Who purchases a dryer without a washer, especially STACKABLE SET? So I pointed out my second choice, one that was currently being advertised as on sale. It too was unavailable. While she was able to tell me when my first choice would be available I was told I could not purchase them until they were in the warehouse, which would only lengthen the process. The second choice which was currently being advertised as ON SALE was permanently unavailable. Why then was it being advertised as ON SALE? The poor woman was so overwhelmed with customers and had no help from anyone that her demeanor showed her unhappiness. I WENT TO HOME DEPOT. They too had none in stock but they not only could tell me when they'd be available they also allowed me to purchase the units right then and set an appointment for delivery/install. The sales girl there was polite, professional and knowledgeable. I hope she gets paid commission. She deserves to be paid well.

I have been purchasing kobalt brand tools for the past 10 years and I've never had an issue until now. My 24v max drill stopped working. I went to my nearest lowes and was told by customer service that my 3 year old drill ( date stamped by kobalt) could not be exchanged without a receipt. So lowes will not stand by their exclusive brands 5 year warranty. I just bought a kobalt 40v lawnmower this past week I will be returning because of this experience. Update, I went to lowes on hwy 28 and was welcomed with open arms. They exchanged my tool with no problem and even apologized for the experience I had at the Clemson Blvd location. I will never spend money at the Clemson Blvd lowes again. But Kobalt and the fine people at at hwy 28 Richard, Rorry, and Griffin still have a paying customer with me!
