Hard to kill croco

We will never stay here again!! Problems started from the time we arrived w our rooms not being correct. We had 6 people in our parry and got 2 rooms. We could only use 3 of the 4 beds because the beds were horrible, you could feels the springs and the mattresses were all saggy. The rooms themselves were filthy, was not comfortable taking my shoes off. The room was visibly dusty and dirty, not sure the last time it was cleaned, and the SMELL!! There were also multiple items in our room that were broken or not working and we were afraid we were going to be charged for these as "incidentals". Our children were also excited about the pool which was disgusting. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. If under reno then you need to say so on your website. We were expecting a much different experience and will not be back.

Positive: Room was VERY nice, and so were the lobby & dining area. The property is older, but they are restoring it into a very nice resort-style motel. Breakfast buffet was hot and yummy. Staff was super friendly. Book with confidence. Negative: Parking lot needs repaving, and pool was also in great need of attention. I'm sure these are on their to-do list, though.

All in all I was pleased, the rooms and the hotel needs to be renovated and updated but for what I paid and that they are dog friendly I can't complain. The reservation process needs work though. I tried to call directly and they wouldn't take my reservation over the phone and it had to be done online. Fir someone who is technologically challenged this could have been a problem. I had to get help from a friend to go through the process.
