Great time at the Red Oak Brewery and Beer Garden. Wonderful atmosphere. Lovely gardens. Food trucks on Sundays. Easy on/off from I-85. Ask for the Red Bird beer. You won't be disappointed.

We usually visit from Charlotte in the summer to enjoy the patio but we visited this February to enjoy the dark bock beers. Delicious! Hummingbird might still be my favorite though. The sausage truck was wonderful, including the hot pretzel. Thank you to our server Lewis who was friendly, helpful, and efficient in bringing us beer. I personally appreciate the 21 and older only since it is a brewery. Looking forward to the next visit!

@Jan Hugh, since it seems that nobody can correctly answer your question, save the Red Oak Brewery, the correct answer that you're looking for is 4.5% ABV (Alcohol By Volume). I hope this will help you to better know their product. Not to sound like a smart@$$ people, but if you DON'T know the correct answer, DON'T answer your with your best GUESS. Nobody likes getting misinformation and I'm sure the Red Oak Brewery would prefer to have their products interpreted and described accurately, not with what you THINK it is.
The lager haus and biergarten are still open. They have 5 beers on tap. You can taste a beer before buying or if you want to sample all 5 you can purchase a flight.
Its all open......go in and get a beer flight!
Black Oak is released in January/Februrary time frame. We don't have any bottles left.
Hi Victoria! Chase did a pretty good job answering - Thank you Chase! Red Oak Brewery makes the beers and sometimes there are jobs available. Usually the website will list the available jobs. The Lager Haus is next door and is the brewery's beer hall. You can hang out and drink or buy bottled beer to take home. Food trucks are scheduled on the days the Lager Haus is open. I hope this was helpful.
If you go to the Red Oak website and click on find our beers it will show you the retailer or restaurant near you that sells red oak product but Old Oak is a seasonal and I'm not sure if it's run is over but it is an fall beer so it should be around still.

Yep, Hummingbird and Red Oak are usually always available. Their seasonals(Battlefield, Big Oak, Old Oak) are usually tap only, the 1516 Bock is bottled occasionally. The best places to find it is Lowes Foods or Harris Teeter. The smaller chains don't carry it. The new beer garden is open at the brewery itself!! Highly recommend checking it out, it is AWESOME. Also, dog friendly if you're interested in that.
