Nice course but if you are a afternoon golfer like myself, don’t even bother. They ought to post a sign that says we close at 5:30 cause that’s clearly when the staff go home. Me and my buddy teed off at 2:30, cart in at 6 and the lady was griping at us. I won’t be back to this place if they wanna treat people like that for doing nothing wrong

Recent 1 star reviews had me a little nervous when planning my annual golf trip w/ 23 guys. But that nervousness was unwarranted. Our experience was great from planning to actual day of. Both Robert and the lady, sorry I didn't catch her name, were extremely courteous and polite before, during, and after our 36 holes. The golf course was in very good shape. It's obvious the grounds crew puts in the time and effort to provide a healthy track. My entire group had good things to say and encouraged me to include RF in future trips. Book it.

Absolute joke of a facility. Club shop had do not enter posted on both doors and the incrediblly rude lady looked at us as if we were crazy when we asked if they were open. We went to hit balls at 4pm on a Saturday and she said the range was closed. Apparently they close the range way early to pick and clean for the next day? I have never seen something so stupid in my entire golfing life. We asked if we could use the puttting green area and she said "it's not open to the public like that". Incredibly arrogant and hostile, would advise people to stay away from this place. I would give zero stars if I could.

This is a great course with challenging holes and pure greens. I’m new to the Knoxville area and have found Ruggles Ferry to be one of my favorite courses. The woman who works the window though is a huge problem. One day I payed for 18 holes and while I was on the 7th hole of the course I had a family emergency pop up and needed to get home quickly. I asked her for a rain check and she reluctantly gave it to me. The very next day I come back to the course to use it and find out it has already expired. The man at the window asked me who gave me the rain check and when I told him he just rolled his eyes, apologized, then fixed the problem. The very next time I wanted to play the course I called ahead to make a tee time and asked if I could play nine holes. The woman at first told me I could come then all of a sudden changed her answer and said no that the course was shut down for the day. It was 3 o’clock….. Let me reiterate. The course is great. The male staff is helpful and courteous. The price is reasonable. But the owners wife is unfriendly, stuck up, and judging from other reviews I have read, a real problem for this golf course.
