Course is in bad shape. People in pro shop unfriendly. Golfers allowed to wear t-shirts and cutoffs. Won't come back.

I did a stay and play package here and it was wonderful and budget friendly. Played 9 on Fri, 18 on Sat and Sun. Etowah Valley Golf has 3 great 9 hole course, each with a different feel. My favorite was the south course, but they were each lots of fun. The fairways are absolutely plush, really good shape right now. The vast majority of the greens are in excellent condition. A few greens on the North course had some issues, but that didn't negatively impact how the ball rolled. The rough on all three courses is extremely thick so either keep it in the fairway or buy some cheap balls in bulk. I don't even want to think about how many balls I lost this weekend to the rough. The practice green is a lot of fun, the driving range needs to be resoded in the hitting area or just give up and put some high quality mats down. The current system is awkward. Pool was nice, room was very good don't come here expecting super, modern, luxury rooms that stuff costs money I'd rather them focus on the course anyway. They were clean, comfy bed, no issues. The view from the balcony was really special. The food at Zeke's was tasty, the servers were great at their jobs, my man on the grill Sunday with the tie-dye shirt knows what's up. Very good customer service all around from check in/out, food service, house keeping, cart team and the ranger. Lastly, I would like it known to all who read this that I hit a punch out 4 iron on #6 North from the right rough through a tree and it ended up a foot from the hole for a tap in birdie. Overall I had a wonderful time and I'll definitely be back.

We did a 2 day stay and play. Our room was not to shabby. Bed was comfy, water was hot and we had hardwood flooring. The television was very small but we where there to play golf so not a big deal. Our partners room had carpet and a bigger bathroom. There bed was not that comfy. The shower head was leaking and would not stay put....I. was broken. Aside from the room, we had a line of storms come through. The course was very wet! When you hit it in a bunker you lost your ball. Water was very deep in most greenside bunkers. The fairways held water. They also had lots of bare spots. It would help tremendously to have a drainage system. The greens where just over 2 weeks out from aeration but some rolled good and some where patchy and bumpy. Upon completion of our first 18 holes, we played an extra nine. Being 3 sets of 9 holes, we really wanted to play all them. The ranger come chasing us down telling us the North course was closed. Pay him 10 bucks cash and we could play the South course again. The next morning the pro shop said they would never see that money again. So we got took for 30 bucks for the 3 of us and the course didn't get a dime. The cart guy was super nice and very helpful. Guy at the pro shop the first day seemed miserable to be their working. The 2nd day he was more friendly. We ate at the Zekes a bar on site for super. Food was decent and service was great! Over all I gave it 3 stars. The course was not up to par but the rain didn't help not time of year. It may be nicer in the summer. Rooms where acceptable and most people fairly nice. I don't see us going 3 hours in the future to stay again. We got a great deal being 250 for 45 holes and a night stay for 2 guest. That was awesome.
