Just moved here from Oregon and have received the warmest welcome into Charlotte at this wonderful library. The staff are so friendly and attentive and great with children! My daughter and I love going! Five stars all the way.

I love this library and I want to give it a 5, but it can get loud in there at times. There was a time when the employees used their inside voices, but that's out the door. Trying to focus can be a little frustrating!!

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library gladly accepts donated books. If they aren't place in out circulation, than we use them in our book sales. Thanks for thinking of us!

Yes! There are two bookdrops outside and those are available 24/7.
There are a lot of tables available for quiet work along the walls. They also have two small study rooms you can reserve for up to two hours.
