This place is the best nail spa around!! I say spa because they aren't just some regular nail techs who want you in and out... they go the extra mile to make sure the customer is comfortable and gets the service that they are paying for. And boy do they have great service. I am coming on 2 years of having my nails and feet done with Emily at Show Nails and I have NEVER been disappointed. She is the absolute BEST. Everything from her work to her personality. From day one, she has shown that she is detailed, critical of her work and wants to make sure your manicure lasts until your next visit. The ONE time that my nails started chipping within a few days, Emily offered to take me immediately and Michael was so apologetic that it made me feel like my presence there mattered. Everyone works so hard to make your visit special (I mean, shoulder massages while your nails dry and water being offered kind of special) and I have not found a place like it since I lived in Massachusetts where everything worth anything is overpriced. This shop is the best thing that has come around in a long time for us girls who just need ME time. Great job guys!! Keep it up. Update 2/22/22: Tried a new technique today and of course my girl came through with another BEAUTIFUL and healthy looking set! After having soft gel, then dip and now trying hard gel… I am sure that there isn’t anything Emily CAN’T do. Love love love her and the treatment I get here. If you’re contemplating it, just give them a shot. (Picture of my first hard gel set is a solid brownish color) Update 8/17/22: Had my nails done by Ruby yesterday and she did a top notch job! I usually get hard gel done and she shaped them beautifully and worked quickly yet efficiently. Definitely recommend 10/10. Thanks to Emily for referring me to her while she’s out! I’ve given Show Nails and Spa so many chances, and unfortunately, I keep leaving beyond disappointed in my service. I’ve been getting my nails done for 5 years, and have been coming to Show since 2018. 3 weeks ago, I got my usual dip manicure, and left absolutely disgusted. The nail tech did a horrible job - she never filed down the dip so they were thick, shapeless blobs. It took her over 2 hours just to do my nails, so by the time she finished I just wanted to get out of there. She stood at the front waiting to be tipped, which I can’t stand. I left angry, only to be chased down by the owner who asked why ai didn’t like my nails. He apologized and offered to have me come in to get my nails fixed. I appreciated that and the fix was great. It was time for my next nail appointment so I went in as usual, asking for dip with french (which they’ve done for me before) they said that wasn’t possible unless I did a UV gel nail - they insisted it would look just like dip. Little did I realize, they tricked me into doing the UV gel because it was $20 more for the service. My nails came out horribly, it’s embarrassing. Enough chances, I’m done.

Show nail & spa, RI sucks. You are supposed to leave a Spa feeling good, Instead , you could tell they were talking and laughing about you in their language. The Manager stopped me at the door with his arm telling me to tip my maniquireist. When I told him that "I tipped my lady $20". He said to me "I didn't see that". I then proceeded to go threw the man's arm (hold the door) and said "Idk what your talking about Buddy but I tipped my girl". and left! What if I didn't tip (which I did, $20) a tip is an offer of Gratuity. Not required, jerks!

I looove that they don't use acrylic. My nails have never felt better.
