I found the staff to be delightful and the grounds to be very well kept. We were part of the company putting on the Blue Ridge Rock Festival and it was the most fun I've had working a gig in over 10 years!!! I can't wait to go back for BRRF next year!!

Attended blue ridge rock fest here.

Yes
Yes we do! Racing for Heroes has driving and tactical courses available.
Not sure ..but they have been open business hours that I know of
$10-$35 online. Depending on the days you want to go. May be different at the gate. I would call to check.
Heacock Classic Gold Cup Historic Races, Trans Am Racing and American Racing Legends Charity Pro-Am September 21-23, 2018
That's not a usual case. As Anthony said the track day may be the only opportunity open to the general public
I'm looking for the same answer... Please tell me this isn't a racetrack of just tuner little cager fan-boys. We're trying to show y'all who's king.
You must be associated with one of the car clubs like BMW, PORSCHE, MERCEDES etc. VIR also has private groups that offer driving experience or high performance drivers ed. You may want to contact FOR directly as sometimes they offer charity laps where for a $50 donation you can drive the track for a lap or two
Best showers are in the north paddock in the back of the restroom attached to the restaurant and parts store. Open 24 hours
I was there to work the IMSA race.
From what I remember, I had no problems with Verizon service while at the track. I would even stream other races while watching the bikes and had no issues. I’m not positive, but I think Verizon may have an antenna very near if not on the VIR water tank.
Yes they also have electricity hook ups and a dump station
Check n2td.org, trackdaywinner.com, & evolvegt schedules online.
For Cornerspeed track events the gate around 5pm.
It depends on which event you want to attend call track or checkout their website for event specific pricing and discounts
The VIR Club is doing a track day. Not racing, still are lots of cool cars on track.
Thanks I'm going. Just not sure if seating is ok or should i bring truck, ez up and chairs.
I need to be in a group to come to the open events to?
Scott, Please check with the group you plan to run with. Most use the same requirements but it is best to check with them before registering. You can access the group's website from the Getting on Track page or from the link in the Track Calendar. Thank you!
If you are coming in with the Tar Heel Sports Car Club the gates will open at 4:00 pm. Thanks,
Yes, the kart track is closed on Monday's but they will open for groups that make reservations. Thank you!
VIR hosts two or three Charity Laps events each season. Community members are invited to make a small donation that entirely benefits a local charity, to take your car, truck or bike for a spin on the track. A VIR pace car leads the way, guiding drivers at highway speeds. Check out there calendar for the next Charity Laps event.
Pete, I have checked and confirmed that Oak Tree Tavern will not be open on Sunday evening.
Yes, there are track days. The info is on their website.
It will depend on the group. Many have restrictions on open top vehicles. Be sure to check with the event organizer before signing up. If you are just looking to take the Spyder on track for a few laps, not high speed, many of the car clubs have charity laps at lunch and the restrictions are less.
That was a great deal. You may want to call or go by the tavern and see if they can help you. These questions are just answered by local guides normally who would not have that answer.
No. You can buy driving experience from different sources but the only time you can buy laps is a few times a year when they have charity events.
Pets – VIR discourages bringing pets to the track. Pets will be allowed if they are leashed and cleaned up behind. Otherwise, VIR will locate the owner and both will be asked to leave. Do not take leashed pets onto False Grid or pit areas. Pets are also not allowed in any of VIR’s buildings or concession areas.
Yes. Next to the Pagoda Restaurant in the north paddock
