Becareful Called ahead to see if they had a room available. They said yes. I asked about reserving the room. They said did not need a reservation to just come on and I could have the room for the night. Arrived and the had already rented the room to someone else.

Place sold to a guy from India. He raised rate to a 5 star and place is a dump bed bugs mold. ADVISED STAY AWAY. GO TO COUNTRY BOY INN IN BIG STONE GAP VIRGINIA. they are cheaper and cleaner.

The owner was very kind. However, I called to tell him we would be in late. He said no problem and to call again when we arrived. We got there after a 10 hour drive and he told us he only takes cash. Why he wouldn't tell me this the first two times I called, I will never understand. The first room he showed us...the first thing we noticed was the smell. Mold. It was like a wall of funk slapping you in the face. Went into the bathroom and there was water all over the floor leaking from the toilet. Luckily he gave us another room. The second room had the same smell. It was so strong. But, we would only be there about 6 hours and it was so late, so we stayed. There was about 4 squares of toilet paper and no backup roll. Most of the lights in the room didnt work. TV didnt work... but we were just there to sleep. My husband turned down the bed spread and it was truly horrific. The sheets appeared clean but the bed spread was beyond gross. It was sort of covered in a layer of stains of varying age. We left without showering because the bathroom was so gross. I have stayed in some seedy motels, but this is by far the most filthy I have seen. And...THE SMELL!!!
