The closest city reservoir to me. Like to spend time hiking the 8.5 miles of trails, laying out along its grassy shore line, hanging a hammock in a grove of trees, and especially spending time on the water Kayaking. There is plenty to explore and much to do, like fishing or even renting a paddle board. It is beautiful year round and very peaceful. It's always a first choice for a paddle.

Lake Brandt Park. Have you taken advantage of Lake Brandt Park? Great place to have an affordable day outside with the family. Pier fishing and renting kayaks or john boats for the entire day is only a few bucks. There are a few picnic tables or a pavilion for rent. Check it out while the 🐟 are biting! 🚣🌳🦆 #gettoknowgso

If you're someone you likes to Mountain bike and I be on the water, this is a great area. The Mountain biking portion is a trail that connects to Burmil Park.

This is not a resort. It is a marina with boat ramp, personal watercraft rentals, hiking trails, etc.
No you cannot duck hunt at Lake Brandt or any of the Greensboro Reservoir Lakes
There are a few benches along the Nathaniel Greene trail and picnic tables at the marina but no rocking chairs.
You can wear a swimsuit there anytime. There are no restrictions on clothes. You just not supposed to swim in the water
Define "so much." It's open within their hours posted on Google.

Fresh water. Not sure there are crabs there. They have nice trails for biking and walking. Slips for your boats. I haven't seen crabs there.
