Go to any other pool... literally anywhere else. I'd rather dig a pit and swim in it

Very clean and well maintained! The indoor pool is perfect for lap swim and lessons. The outdoor pool is perfect for an afternoon of fun or relaxing under the tree. Check out the barn burner grill for quick eats and treats!

The Hommocks Pool is one of the worst facilities I have swam at. For starters, it is nearly impossible to get a lap lane because of frequent programs and large parts of the pool being closed, and when I can get space in the pool, the water temperature is unbearably cold, which the managers blame on the school. Locker rooms are unsanitary (thanks to the rude custodial staff) and outdated. Staff is unknowledgeable and many are downright rude. Please don't waste your money here.

I think you can't pay at the door, and that you need to be a member of Mamaroneck Recreation. Alternatively some local swimming schools also run lessons there, so you may be able to attend their lessons without being a member of Mamaroneck Recreation. (Also be aware the water is pretty cold usually, if you are not strenuously active in the pool then you might consider wearing a thin wetsuit. This is what some of the swimming teachers already do) Cost for family pool pass is maybe $450-550 per year
