Nice but would have had a better and CALMER affect for both kids and parents if they played soft relaxing music, kids were rowdy and running around both on and off the ice!

Very fun and had a good time, food is wicked expensive

Clean and we maintained. Lots of public skate times available. I drive here vs my local rink for the longer hours and better prices.

No, please bring your helmets for the kids
Hommocks ice rink usually closes late May. The Town of Mamaroneck website will have the specific date.
There is no equipment to help kids to skate.
At least early in the day. Most rinks are closed by evening as no one wants to work or go
No you do not. Call prior to arriving and Inquire about special events or holidays. But spectators do not pay.
Yes no prob. From my memory there is no baby change though. There is a small cafe that sells items like hot dog, pretzels and pizza. They could probably warm baby milk for you in their microwave
Not per hour. It is fixed price for entry, check the internet for process, around $11 for children and $14 for adults, from memory, plus $4.50 for skate hire. Hire skates are not in great condition. Sightly different prices for local resident and non-Mamaroneck resident. (Resident proof means you must have a Mamaroneck Recreation card as resident) Also can buy a 12-entry card, and can get discount on Groupon. Maybe 10 days in the year they don't take Groupon, eg national holidays and the week before New Year
$4.50 But suggest you buy your own, since the rental skates are not particularly sharp, etc, etc You can buy new children's entry level skates for $60-$80 (get a known brand such as Jackson) or adult for maybe $100. They will be more comfortable and better fitting and sharp. Alternatively there are always piles of second hand skates at tag sales or school sale for $5-$10 but they need sharpening which costs another $10
This is a public place...
$8 I've time and$4 skate rental
