This is not a church. It’s a concert. The only reason I’m giving it one star is because the lead pastor's sermons are awesome. My husband and I moved here a few years ago from the city. We have been looking for a decent church ever since. We came across this one and figured we’d try it. They ask for leaders, they ask for participation, but when they make it virtually impossible for people to pass a simple "audition" as they call it, for the music ministry, and when you have to go through hoops to volunteer in general, this is not asking for participation or leadership. Participation, leadership and excellence comes from repetition, learning and experience. Give people a chance to enhance their craft if that is what you seek. Being a musician of 30 years and having sung in choirs and just coming out of a music ministry in the city, it struck me.... why even do you have to go through so many auditions to sing in a church? Praising God should be their main focus. However, what I was told by one of the pastors is a joke. He told me this "you praise God at home and strive for excellence in the church." REALLY? Well, first of all, I don't know what Bible he is looking at, but Jesus only can ask us to do out best and Jesus does NOT turn anyone away, especially when they are down on their luck. John 6:35-37. What a lot of churches do not realize is that without congregants, there is NO church and with a church this large, it is the people, that pay for a lot of the salaries and/or other things that are easily obtained. Well, this is one church my husband and I will be leaving. They lost one hell of a string player and a not so bad singer, who feels the Holy Spirit in her when she sings. Too bad. False prophets are everywhere, so please beware.

I move to OC about two years ago. I love this church. I can really feel GOD is there. Before attending Family Church I used to go to a restricted church that was more into what you wear, how much money you can give and if you was not jumping around with the holy sprit you was considered an outcast. Even will weigh you because you could not be overweight. I was over with any church but someone invited my husband to Family church and I was reluctant but went. Thank you God for that person cause now a found a second home. Where God is present. And my family and I are happy.

We moved to OC about 3 years ago and we are happy to make this our new church. We have been attending for 3 Sundays and LOVE it. Our baby girls love their classes which gives hubby and I time to enjoy the service. My niece attended their youth trip last week and she loved it! The worship is amazing and the preachings are God filled and very educational. Looking forward to becoming an active member
