This salon was fantastic, and I will definitely use them again! I have only been to hair salons of any kind maybe 5 or 6 times since going natural in 2009. I've never appreciated how expensive it can be or how unnecessarily time consuming it can be. That said, 5 Star Weaves delivered quick, polite, quality service at an affordable price.

Called to make an appointment on a Thursday no one answered about 30 minutes later I received a text message asking did I want to make an appointment should have been a red flag but I text yes I called to make an appointment the owner was very nice via text she had a cancelation for Saturday at 10a I was like okay I will take it the pictures online look absolutely beautiful so I knew I was going to have a good experience. Not the case My hair looks like a wig it's puffy and the lace is showing and has been showing since I left. I explained to the owner that I do not wear weave and didn't understand what dying of knots was and no one explained it to me either. I wasted $165.00 on a sew in that looks horrible tried to text the manager on sunday with my complaints she responded back after they closed and then didnt respond again till Monday she said to come in on Tuesday for someone to add make-up to it. If this is what I needed why wasn't it done??? Unfortunately I work and is only available on the weekends so I've been wearing head scarfs all week . This was my bad experience as a new client.
