I was an employee for Westbrook Care Center for 5 years. I worked under Steve and Amy McDonald the owners/ Administration. I can Guarantee 💯 percent that no where in Kansas City MO. Or within a 100 miles of K.C will you find a place with more Heart and the drive to see that the care received by their staff for your loved one is more than a 110 percent given by their facility. Now I'm not biast just because I worked there..cause I was fired from there . I'm saying this because it's a FACT I've worked in many places in 23 years different homes etc. But it was this facility and only this facility that showed the level of care we expect for our loved ones. The dignity the love the way you would want cared for yourself is all right there in Westbrook Care Center. Steve is a Wonderful Man to do business with he treats you like family and he ensures your member of the family get the kind of care we all expect. His wife Amy the D.O.N is a Brilliant Lady that you'd swear was an Angel. The tenderness she shows each and every resident is phanominal. The acts of kindness makes this facility gives 24-7 makes you want to be apart it.15 years after being let go for having my boyfriend inside the facility after hours to this day I still regret ever messing up cause I would work there again in a heartbeat . I hope this helps those of you looking for a place to place mom and Dad. Because this here is the right choice to make.

It's been really comforting to me to know that my mother has excellent care. She feels that everyone at Westbrook is her friend and she loves them very much. We have been lucky to find a place that is convenient, run very well, and that has done so much for her and me. Our families experience at Westbrook has been excellent.

Can't say enough great things about the management and staff at Westbrook. They are extremely caring and attentive to every resident. This facility is local and family owned, which might contribute to why it has such a warm and welcoming feel to it compared to some of the larger "franchise" operations I've toured. I would recommend Westbrook to anyone in the Kansas City northland who is looking for independent or assisted living for a loved one.
