We have used Pool Troopers for the last 4 years with no issues. However the last 6 months have been a nightmare. We have had a dirty pool with Algae growing for the last 4 weeks! Due to terrible communication between the cleaners and managers we were never informed we needed a new filter. After they finally told us we needed one it took them almost two weeks to come back and install it. After it was installed it was still turning yellow, we were informed another 48hrs and it would clear, fast forward 4 days later still looks the same. A manager comes out and tells us we need a new filter 🤔. Well we just purchased a new filter, however they say it was now defective but when they put it in nobody noticed it! Incompetence at its finest. We had another filter installed and surprise…still ALGAE! Summertime in Florida and it’s been 4 weeks without a safe healthy pool!

Pool troopers have performed chemical service on my pool since 2015 when they were Bay Area Pool Troopers. They recently decided to add a component to "lengthen the life of the salt cell". Well this turned my pool charcoal black. The tech states this has happened to other pools but not as bad as ours. It has now been a month- I'm not getting a response from anyone other than customer service tech on the phone and still have black streaks and "smoker's tooth" yellow stains all over the pool. Maybe someone of importance will contact me now that it is public knowledge.

I do not recommend this company AT ALL, they break the equipment so you have to replace it, I called them because of a noise in the pool motor, two days later when I got home from work the motor was disassembled, and when I called them they say no It was them, but they had an estimate to replace it, since December they had disconnected the salt system without any notification and I was paying for the salt system.

They service our pool every other week and it’s sad that our pool currently looks like this. I shouldn’t have to call about the pool looking terrible when we pay a monthly payment.
