Tarragon is a great hotel for any sportsman. Right between Peshtigo and Marinette it's a great fishing/hunting/outdoor adventure location right on Hwy 41. Nightlife is good if you're looking for that. Outdoor outlets allow easy charging. Shannon at the front desk is the BEST!!

Made a reservation and was told there was nothing under my name when we got there. Eventually they were able to get a room for us but the rate was $40 more than when we booked it originally. Then we were told there's a $50 deposit required but it had to be cash? This wasn't mentioned at all when we made the reservation and it seemed really sketchy. Since we didn't have cash (and didn't want to lose $50 to some sketchy employee) we ended up leaving. Avoid this place

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because they got us a room last minute. Now that being said it was a room with cold water only on Friday night and no water at all on Saturday night, they were replacing the water heater as we were leaving. There was no mention of a discounted rate for that. Not that its super important but did take away from looking put together, the bed sheets didn't match OR even stay on the bed. Pet deposit is non refundable even if your pets do nothing to the property. This is an extended stay motel, so there are people living there. The outside needs a major facelift, there was a 1" gap in our flooring and some trim missing. Cleanliness goes a long way, the place could still be somewhat rundown but if a good effort is put into cleaning, they could have gotten a much better review from me. If cheap is what you want, go for it, just remember... You get what you pay for. Good luck!

Only good thing i can say, the room was conveniently priced. Other than that its a flop house for local transient people to panhandle from guests, one of them including the manager whom asked if i could spare change for a pack of cigarettes. Would not recommend if you're looking for a quiet weekend which would be expected when the motel is out in the middle of nowhere.
