Booked a Mavericks for our 10 day East Coast road trip (from Orlando to New York) and it couldn't have been a better decision! Richard was amazing at pickup, he explained everything, made sure we had everything we booked and were ready for the trip. The van itself drove reliably, even with the rooftop sleeper on the roof (which does limit its safe max. speed, but then, you don't need to worry about being the fastest on the highway). There is nothing negative to highlight, definitely a trip worth remembering. Would book again with Escape, anytime.

After 47 days of road trip across the US from Orlando to SF, we definitely recommend this rental company ! The employees are always nice and respectful, the customer service is quick and efficient, and there are plenty of options to customize your trip. The van is getting old and the engine isn't really powerful, but it's still giving a very nice driving experience. After 5600 miles we had an issue with the starter of our van, so we've been to the Las Vegas agency and they gave us straight a new van that was already setup.

Here we are after our 23-day stay in a Maverick van in Florida, a truly exceptional experience, with quality and attentive staff The van was perfect and the perfect size to park everywhere quite easily At the start of our trip, we were told that we were going to enjoy a roof tent for free, which allowed us to go to sleep in natural parks. The solar shower offered by Escape Campervans does the trick in addition to beach showers In short, we have very good memories of them and look forward to doing business with them again! No, private vehicles cannot be left at the Escape depot. It is suggested that travelers use either a ride sharing service such as Lyft or Uber or park their car at a nearby long-term parking lot.
All drivers are required to have a valid driver's licence from his or her respective country in hand and at pick up, in order to rent a campervan. No print outs or photocopies will be accepted!
The campervans come with plenty of storage inside of the van and many of them have roof racks for additional storage. However, I would call and confirm with the depot prior to booking!

Both are great options! On the surface, to anyone living the brick and mortar life, RV life and van life probably look very similar. Both have you living, sleeping, and cooking out of a tiny space. Both allow you to pick up and move as you please.
The only campervans offered in Orlando are the Maverick and Big Sur.
