Beautiful, serene. It IS accessible for those who have mobility issues from certain parts along the southern tip of the lake (Lake Harbor is best compared to John Stretch strictly for mobility). Definitely worth it if you've never been. You can always check online to see what the ACOE might be working on/closed down.

In Pahokee, the most beautiful view, quiet and the police very supportive and vigilant! I like that!

The Corps website shows construction zones. Below is a link to their site with details and a map of closures. https://www.saj.usace.army.mil/Missions/Civil-Works/Recreation/Lake-Okeechobee-Scenic-Trail/
Yes but bring water and bags to pick up any droppings along your route.
