Tried to do the right thing and recycle an broken TV. Was told person I needed to talk to was not there, and that I would be charged. I threw the TV in the trash for free.

Batteries, yes. Paint, no you need to go to the transfer station on 419 in Sanford. As far as dropping batteries off with us, there shouldn't be any charge
