Absolute gem of a museum. So much history and actual aircrafts on display for what appears to be a small museum. All of the docents demonstrated encyclopedic knowledge and were eager to tout the history of every aircraft as well as their connection to Connecticut. Highly recommended.

Fascinating stuff in there, with very well cared for pieces, but definitely very text heavy.

Questions & Answers

Would this museum be appropriate for seniors and their walkers? And is there a restaurant very close by? Would I book a day to come with my seniors, (approx 10)? Thanks

This location is unique, it is on government property so you need to talk to the desk in the army engine plant first
