Wasnt very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Wasnt terrible, however wasn't clean either. Especially for a Holiday inn!! Bathroom definitely wasnt cleaned!! Faucet was loose from bathroom sink. Pain in the butt, constantly moving around when turning water on and off, or from hot to cold. Filthy floor. No tissues. The mattress was awful. I'm sure it was the original mattress from whenever this place was built!! This room was a King Suite! Maybe drive a few miles for a different Holiday Inn???

The rooms were not clean. Sticky floors, stained sheets, hair (not mine) in the shower etc. etc... Multiple guests reported the same issues. Don't bother with breakfast, just go out somewhere else to eat. No coffee on either of the mornings of my stay and the food was questionable at best. Before you book here, look at the other low-star ratings and you'll see they all have a common theme. We're not all making this up. Looking at other options, this may still be the best hotel in town, so if you have to stay in Three Rivers, do yourself a favor and DON'T! travel 20 minutes north to Kalamazoo and find something halfway decent.

The title says it all. He's all the things that "don't work". The ice machine on the second floor, the heater in the east stairwell, the outside door in the east stairwell, the dryer in the laundry room, the plugs/usb next to my bed, and the back lights in the room. I've been staying in this hotel since 2003 because my company does a lot of work at the American Axle plant in town. I spend over 100 nights per year in Holiday Inn Expresses and I will have to say this is one of the worst. Most of the guys I work with now drive to Indiana or Kalamazoo to stay at hotels and now I see why. Whoever bought this hotel has let it fall into disrepair. And for the price paid, it is lacking. It's sad to see after all the years I've stayed here. I think it would be closed if there were more hotels to choose from in Three Rivers.

I had different rooms over two nights. Each had the same issues. First, the staff was friendly and helpful. When I had a problem, they helped me as best as they could. The place was clean, and the breakfast had fresh food along with stale muffins/rolls. Issues: The wall thermostat wouldn't work or control the temp. Low Battery flashing. The manager had to come in and switch over to the unit below the window in each room. Nite 1 - no remote. Nite 2 - no batteries in the remote. Both rooms - no phone. One room-broken clock. Room 2 - no clock. One clock brought in, other clock remained broken. Phones brought in but wouldn't work when plugged in. No big deal - i have a cell phone, or, I could walk to the front desk. Sign on the front desk read No housekeeping until after the 5th day. Most places are going to 3 rd day. Hopefully, this is because of staffing issues. I travel extensively for work, and the HIE brand has taken a huge quality hit so much that I have stopped staying with them for the most part. Although not as high quality as before the virus, they are improving. The issues with this place I believe are mostly because of inexperience and unfamiliarity with the business.
