Nice facility with lots of room. The sand is great, a nice place to camp and relax. The gazebos are cute, a bit hot because of the roof. Each year gets better! Thank you!

Amazing campground 30 mins away from our house. We haven't been camping since covid hit and moved to Okemos mi so with my wife's researching she found this campground in Owosso, so I decided to take just me and daughter for a one night trial run. We were blow away by first our spot so close to the beach but everything here to do. There is a huge assortment of playground equipment, buried pillow jumper, pedal boat rentals, kayak rentals, paddle board rentals, catch n release fishing, and the check in office has plenty of snacks, beer, memorabilia , even pints of ice cream. There a tons of those huge arondeck chairs with steel top umbrellas all over the beach area and by equipment. They play a good variety of music throughout the day on speakers in the center of the beach area. Campsites have nice firepits and a picnic table, full hookup 30/50amp service with another receptacle available as well. For us it was $57 for one night but we stayed on a Monday night end of June so might go up diff times idk. The campground is surrounded by a huge man made lake that used to be a gravel pit, it's treated so no funk anywhere nice turquoise color can't speak on the fishing but there are plenty of reeds and tree roots on the far side sure there is something over there. Everything here is well built well maintained and well invested my opinion. They appear to be expanding so that won't change anytime soon I'm sure. I think we found our camping destination from here on out. Def check it out you won't be disappointed at all.

I didn’t even camp here, I went there for the day to visit family. This place is ridiculous and only cares about the money. For starters, there is no grass. Only campsites that have grass is the campers that are there year round. The other campsites have nothing but pea rock. It’s honestly depressing. Who wants to come camping and see pea rock? Most of the time when people camp, they want to see nature. They want to be in nature. Also, there’s hardly any room for campers. They have the placed so jammed packed, it’s very difficult to get a decent size trailer in. I guess they were expecting to have everyone come in small trailers? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️Second, they have so many rules. I understand that you have to have rules to keep what you built nice, but they have too many rules. Oh and if you break a rule, they will not hesitate even a second to yell at you and let you know. Thirdly, there isn’t really much for the kiddos to do here. Yes, they do have a nice beach area/ play area, but that’s it. Oh and let’s not mention that I’ve heard this place kicking people out over the most ridiculous things ever. Honestly, if I could give them 0 stars I could. I’ll never be returning. This place is a sad campground. Honestly felt like I was at a prison campground. Very depressing.

The cleanest smartest campground I've ever been at. Decent space for my motorhome. The beach area is superb. I went after labor day and midweek so it was blissfully quiet. Good family campground, a lot of seasonal. This gem is like 45 …

Hi Chuck! Current state law allows the transport of firewood within the lower peninsula of Michigan. However, due to a new infestation affecting certain types of trees, it was recommended to us from the DNR that we only allow firewood from within Shiawassee County. If you have any questions, feel free to call our office at 989-721-9120. Thanks for reaching out to us!
It's Owosso just give the office a call they'll gladly help you with very friendly service
Not sure. But that should be feasible to do they have a big beach area. Maybe not so munch on a weekend. Good luck.
I don't think so. All I seen was motorhomes and trailers.
The office is open from 11 to 6 Monday to Friday

Venus, we do not have WiFi. We do, however, get excellent service coverage from all major cell-phone providers.
Our season runs from May 1 to October 31. Thank you for inquiring!
No, but the seasonals have first dibs and they usually take the water sites. I think all of the water sites are taken for the entire season this year.
Hi Sandra! Yes, punch cards never expire. You can use them all up in one year or make them last for many years. We will always honor them.
No
Hi Jeff! Unfortunately, we do not yet have a flush toilet/shower facility. To do so requires a number of permits from the state of Michigan and a closed-loop sewer system. After securing some of the required permits a couple of years ago, we began work on the sewer system to allow for sewer hookup at each campsite, but we have to wait until the campground is closed for the season before we can dig up all of our roads to put in the lift stations and pipes required to finish the “closed-loop” portion of the system. We are hoping to complete that after we close this fall, but it’s hard to pin down an exact date of completion due to our construction season being dependent on Mother Nature. We appreciate you reaching out to us and look forward to being able to offer shower facilities in the near future.
