You can't expect a five star experience from any hospital. However, this was one of the best hospitals I've been to.

Absolute joke of a mental hospital. And im going to write this with my full name so they know who they did wrong. Food was a privilege for some kids. Kids there were completely unruly and other kids were punished for the behavior of someone else. Staff had no kind of safety prevention. Staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Their charge nurse is an absolute joke of a man. I was at blame for being attacked, and sedated for acting out when they tackled me and held me down FOR BEING ATTACKED, by another paitent witch received no punishment. Instead, I was left in a room with a concussion and sedated for over well 3 hours. Staff here is a joke. And so are the “doctors”. Never send your kid here if you actually want them to get help. Most of the kids that left this place are still is horrible shape and even worse after their visit. Do yourself and your loved one a favor and don’t send them to this horrible institution.

First, PPI is not a walk-in facility. If a patient is admitted, they are admitted as: 1. Voluntary Admission (Sec. 201 Admission) 2. Involuntary Admission (Sec. 302 Admission) A voluntary admission is capable of understanding who they are, why they need help, and are generally capable of participating in developing and participating in his or her treatment. A voluntary admission can sign themselves out of the hospital upon giving 72-hours advance notice. This notice is ostensibly required so that the facility can develop and implement an after-care plan. But, beware: a person who voluntarily admits his or her self may be held as an involuntary admit if the patient's treatment team believes that he or she may pose a danger to themselves or others. A hearing before a judge does not need to be held until several days AFTER being admitted or re-admitted (from voluntary admission). Being held involuntarily carries severe, long-term consequences to avoid if at all possible.
They wont release any information about anyone that is inpatient unless you have their pin. The only way to contact the individual would be to write a letter to them with your information to reach out to you without their pin youre stuck.
You get to have music during certain times not always n yea you can have visitors
Yes, I was admitted at 7 years old
