They would have no stars if that were an option. Once again they failed a child. I really don't know how these people sleep at night knowing they are the reason these kids end up losing their life.

Not really unless they get busted, but cys of York County is corrupt and they'll take any kid for the money make up a lie and they'll find a way to take the child. If you have no former charges you're good. Be advised you're dancing with the devil here best to let it be.

Just call and make a referral give fathers parents name and they will send someone out to check the home

If a cys worker doesnt call you back does that mean the case is closed ? I haven't received anything in the mail or even a call back and I been calling and leaving messages no one has called me back I don't want to be too annoying its been a week

No, don't trust that a lack of response means a case is closed. CYS has too few case workers with too many cases. To say they are behind would be an understatement. The case workers are also not above making something up to cover for a mistake they may make due to being so far behind. Keep an eye on the mail, and keep a record of your efforts to reach out to CYS and lack or form of response in case you need to show proof that you've been proactive. Be honest, open, and direct with case workers. Be courteous. There are good ones in there who do want to help people.

Bell Socialization Services operates a program called Bell Next Door at 16 W. King St. that assists those seeking housing by providing income eligible appliacants with assistance with security deposit and 1st month rent... not too certain though that OCYF will be able to link you with temporary hotel placement... with peace and best wishes on your path for a future of prosperity

Our neighbor allows his 7 year old son to use a power mower..the push kind where you have to pull a cord..I find this troubling.
