New Haven Promise funds up to full-tuition OR up to $2,500 at a Connecticut partner college or university (Additional details and a list of partner institutions is available on our website: www.newhavenpromise.org). Students who anticipate attending a non-partner college or university or the armed forces are encouraged to apply to determine their eligibility and be able to: defer their scholarship for up to 1 year, participate in our paid summer internships program, and take advantage of career-launch resources and events.

Is there are an available community service for after school or for Sunday morning

Hello, New Haven Promise (NHP) has three signature events in January, July and August that are great volunteer opportunities for students and adults. To register as a volunteer for NHP and receive notices of NHP's volunteer opportunities, register on our website (the link below). http://newhavenpromise.org/signup/volunteer-with-promise/ NHP also provide opportunities for our applicants who are in need of community service hours for the scholarship to pursue.
