They just let my elderly neighbor come home! She was suppose to stay until her next surgery which is Tuesday. The doctor today said she wasn't coming home. She can't even walk! This hospital is waiting for someone to sue them. How stupid can they be at St.Pukes!!!!

The customer service is so poor within the ER ! The actual medical staff are kind , but the girls that sit at the registration desk (and have no actual medical certifications )are the ones I’m referring to . I work within the hospital setting myself. I’m fully aware of the misunderstandings between patients and the actual severity of their reasons for going to the ER . I understand being the Face of the waiting room can be overwhelming. But Not only did these girls speak to me like I was beneath them , they were on their phones taking Selfies of themselves. Why would you be taking pictures of yourself at any occupation? You’re being payed to work. I also overheard the receptionist discussing a stroke stand-by patient , and the occurrence that she had with the patients family . Not only is that a hippa violation , but she spoke down on the patients family . I’m not one to complain , especially when I’ve been both a medical professional AND a patient . This occurrence was Very unprofessional and it made the hospital look crazy .

That the nightmare hospital 🤦♀️ no body wants to work, they lift people's waiting for up to 6 or 7 hrs. That's ridiculous

What time can you have a ekg
Go 2 Mass. Dept of Vital Statistic's...its 45 bucks 4 a long form certified Birth Certificate (not an abstract) its a bond (surety) & its got monetary value 2 those who make them-(I was born same place 1961) Lots of dark sh*t going on with Birth Certificate's - most don't want 2 know. U'll need (parent's) SIN (Social Insurance Number) the accurate date of their birth...if u want a lawful "certified" copy that will stand up in court...only a state's dept. of vital statistic's can give u that not the local town hall- (My people suffer 4 their lack of Knowledge) TRUTH n FREEDOM We use 2 record new baby's in our family Bible why do we now "Certify" them w/the state? : (
Yes, SLH does have Shields MRI.
I don't work in the hospital but if you have a question you can communicate with them and they give you your answer
I think more specifically to St Luke's it has a lot to do with the fact that there's a lot of drug addicts in the area and they're just frustrated with that
EKG for diagnostic purposes would recommend having it done by your primary physician.
The CT machine are generally a standard size that can be expanded. Southcoast hospital group ie St Luke's Tobey a d Charleston all have the expandable one as does the major hospitals all the way up to Boston
The best place to file a complaint is either at the front desk where they have the paper work for it, or the best place which is the HR office on allen street as that is where most complaints go to. I hope this helps you in getting the results you seek.
The general visiting hours are, from 8am to 8 pm
I think you have to go city hall if I'm not mistaken
They should receive a survey in the mail
Only if you are admitted inpatient will they dialyze.
Yous?
I'm not a doctor but usually when something hurts like that you should get it checked out.
They have both private rooms and rooms with double beds.
