Great location nice rooms. I had a fantastic view of the river and my friends had a huge suite. Neat pictures on the wall. And located in the park (make reservations early!). We ate at the inn for dinner and breakfast. The salmon and chicken were delicious for dinner. Breakfast was nothing special and didn't start until 8. It was convenient and fairly priced.

Rooms are big with an excellent view of the Ohio river. One disadvantage was that there was no bar in the bathtub, should you need more support. The food i the restaurant was hot and fresh. However, the young wait staff undoubtedly needed more training. The girls were eager and courteous but it took 3 tries before they got our bill correctly totaled. We waited for quite some time.

We had a wonderful time at dinner. The buffet was marvelous. I will definitely be going back. The view of the river was spectacular. It was chilly and we even had some sleet so I'm hoping for a warmer and dryer experience next time. The waiting staff was excellent as well.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Seating areas throughout the inn for reading, visiting, or playing games. The facility is well kept and attractive. The indoor pool and spa are nice though the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. The location is convenient to Madison so long as the South gate is open. That was the one inconvenience we experienced. The inn's view looks down on Madison, the Ohio river, and a power plant. We thought it was odd to be so close to the power plant, but it turned out to be kind of neat to view it. Our kids really enjoyed it.

Hi Ramon, If you scroll down there is a "trails" tab and a "maps" tab. You should find everything you need there. https://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/2985.htm
Some rooms are pet friendly now
The Riverside suite has a room with a queen bed. And then in the living room is a full size couch that pulls out to be a bed.. Letting it sleep a total of 4.
Yes it does have a mini fridge
We have an annual pass so I really don't know
More Give them a call. I was only a visitor there.
Cassondra is correct. During the colder months, the state parks are "open," as in no entrance fee. I've never discovered a set policy concerning the beginning and ending dates for the open period, but I believe it to be just after Thanksgiving to sometime in late March. It may coincide with dates of the two-for-one overnight stay offers for the park inns. Hope this helps. Enjoy.
Yes, they do bot a small fee may be necessary to have it brought to Room. This is a Very Nice Inn!!
