Super 8 by Wyndham Lindsay Olive Tree

This Super 8 Wyndham in Lindsay is perfectly good lodging. We chose it for its convenient location...it is a short distance from towns like Exeter and Visalia. The rooms are nothing special, but they are clean and comfortable. The beds are ok for a short stay, the mattresses are on the super soft side of the spectrum...so that's an individual preference. The decor is classic motel... there is a large picture above the bed that serves as the only decoration, and a TV on top of a unit that contains a mini refrigerator, a microwave and two drawers for clothing. The bathrooms are a little small but clean. The staff are friendly and polite. Housekeeping: the ladies are efficient and friendly.

Very big room, very big bed that was quite soft but comfy. Super noisy, even with earplugs, because of the big road nearby (so not recommended for light sleepers). Bathroom ok. Breakfast was disappointing (just coffee and 1 or 2 pastries, nothing else...). Pool looked nice but we had no time to try it. Plenty of parking space. Some fast food and restaurants nearby.

They ripped me off for 50$ of my 100$ cash room deposit because of “stained towels”. There was face make up on one of the hand towels, and we had an I’ll child in the room, and we cleaned up his vomit with a wash cloth. For this we were charged 50$. The woman was rude and unwilling to give me an itemized list of the charges. Im considering taking them to small claims court. On another note, the morning staff person was very friendly and helpful. It was the overnight staff worker woman that was rude and stole my deposit.

Alma is a real asset to this Super 8. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 out of the 4 nights that we booked. There is lots of renovation happening (which is good), but wasn't ideal for us. It was also a time where lows were in the low 30s. We couldn't get the heat to work in our room so ended up freezing all night. Again, Alma was very understanding and apologetic.
