A warm welcome by the host and was delightfully accommodated on a Thursday night with no reservations. The vibe was cozy and authentic. It was our first time trying Ethiopian food and I must say it was for sure an experience; one I would try again? I am not sure. We had the beef Sambousa to start which was very good – I really enjoyed the spicy kick to it. It is similar to Samosa without the potato. For dinner, we had the Taste of Sheba Sampler with Awaze Tibs which was my favorite. Overall, a pleasant experience and one that should try, at least once.

Ok food but the ongoing abusive service from the waitress was not called on. Will probably not be back

good food but terrible and slow service. Food is good - been there many times - but today our waitress managed to 1) spill quite a lot of red wine in one of my guests - there was slight "sorry" out of her mouth - like she bumped into someone on the subway. When we got the bill (after a really long wait, and not a busy restaurant) it was added tip of 20% for "large group". Which I understand if its a large group. We were 4. She knew we were not happy with the service - so clearly wanted to secure her share. When I tried to talk to her about the issues, she was very defensive - like I was taking up her precious time - by then in a nearly empty. Will probably not come back, and so should not you unless you want to be abused by unmotivated staff.
