The best pizza in New Haven hands down. Get a red pie (no mozz) you won't regret it! Drooling just thinking about it. Be prepared to wait if you're going on a weekend evening, but totally worth it.

Pepe's pizza pies are unique and not like any other. The thin, charred crust at the outer edge, chewy textured center and Italian tomatoe base are unusual and AWESOME! Doubt it? Try it!! We loved it won't hesitate to go back. Dining in or placing an order for take out are both options that may require patience. Allow ample time to be seated and for the pizza to be created and baked after your order is placed. (I was fortunate enough to see several pies made in the smaller building, and it can be best described as an all out blitz to generate goodness under duress.) The pie makers work hard and efficiently to meet what seems like a dozen orders per minute. Our Waitress was AWESOME. Is there a downside? Maybe two: popularity and parking. Pepe's has a great thing going in Little Italy! Available parking is tight and their product is AWESOME!

If you're looking for some of the best pizza around, Frank Pepe is the place to go. The wait time is relatively short, and the staff are both friendly and helpful. Even the salad was delicious! The doppio pepperoni pizza and meatball with ricotta were both amazing. The beer was cold and relatively inexpensive, too. Overall, a great experience

The place for authentic New Haven apizza! Always a line to get in, but worth the wait!

No Pepe's for you!
Already happened.
Have u ever had Gran aPizza?
You can ,but won't sit together
Not that i am aware. Ive never heard of them doing that
Yes!
What is the question
Yes, on the fire escape w the pizza on the hood of the car. Plenty of room on the curb as well if there’s a large party.
I have done it and so have my friends. It's well worth the price and the taste of heaven in your mouth
No. Not that I know of.
It is slightly burnt but crispy and awesome.
Sally's Apizza, also on Wooster Street, is most definitely Pepe's competitor. Many people say that Modern Apizza, on State Street, is as good. I've always preferred Pepe's. It's a tradition to get Pepe's then walk to Libby's for an Italian Ice, since childhood. That's probably where my preference originated. The Mashed Potato pie at Bar, in New Haven, is phenomenal. Marino's in West Haven has been a long time favorite as well. 🍕😋
I believe it is a single story set up.
Call them and see
No, they do not, you'll have to wait in line. However, It's well worth it. I'm from Michigan, and have had a lot of very good pies. This by far was the best Pizza, I've eaten hands down.
Heck no! Places as special as pepe's will never deliver . Pepe's is the definition of quality! Its not Little Cesears
Yes they are
Yes.. although limited
They do not. I live in MT and it is worth the trip to New Haven for their pizza! LOL!
No
No, but they have take-out. Classic New Haven pizza thats worth a visit...or two.
Sally's was purchased by a local family restaurant owners.
Not that close to Cal, and it depends on where you are . . . but if you can get to Sedona, Grand Apizza, a fine New Haven establishment, has a small pizza shop there called Apizza Heaven run by a relative. Probably one of the only places outside Connecticut you'll see the "apizza" name. Haven't eaten there, but of you're in the area, might be worth a try.
No

First come first serve or as Anthony Bourdain would say No Reservations.
