We lived at Deer Valley from 2018-2021. During that time, we loved our 2 bedroom townhouse (Mystic) and all the wonderful amenities. The staff, including Amy, Cheryl, Deb and the maintenance folks are all professional, friendly and go out of their way to assist tenants with their every need. After selling our home in 2018 we searched far and wide for a 2 bedroom apartment and Deer Valley was easily the nicest, well managed complex we visited and a very good value compared to other properties in the Ellington, South Windsor area. It was the only property that offered a two car garage, full basement and front porch. We would still be there if we did not have to locate due to a family situation. We will always have fond memories of our time living at Deer Valley.

Lived here from 2019 to 2021, if you’re older and like a place with extremely strict rules this is the place for you. The rent is over priced for what you get, and the staff is overbearing. The rules are extreme, and in general the people who live here are extremely rude and can’t mind there own business. People will complain about anything and everything to the office. Seems like they are pushing our younger people and trying to move the complex to only people 50+, major shift from people in their 20s to people in their 50s in the last two years. Don’t plan to get your security deposit back, they’ll charge you for something they do anyways to get their money.

Great Townhouse Community. Very Well Managed. Great memories.

This place has been a wonderful place to call home for 5 years. The staff are exceptional: Amy, Cheryl, Debbie and Paul. We have a great relationship with them. The community resources—the trail, gym, and pool—are wonderful as well as the quality of buildings which are top notch construction. However, if you thought you were moving to a community that is pet free, that is no longer the case—emotional support animals abound. Some people benefit from the support of critters, however, let us also be real, some folks are playing the system. This should have remained a pet free community. We moved here for that reason. In the past, our son has had severe allergic reactions to dog dander that has required us to go the emergency room. For those requiring the assistance of an animal, why not move to a residence that allows pets?
