Jerry and Tom were so helpful and generous with their time helping me select a new bike and fitting it for me. They are so knowledgeable about everything bikes. Highly recommend shopping for a new bike at Assabet River Bicycles.

These guys saved my much-needed day off. I had my original bike plans thwarted so my plan B was to bike elsewhere. Got all the way to the trail for my bike chain to keep falling out, and the gears wouldn't stick. …Missing New England classics like leaf peeping and applepicking would be sad. Happy to help! Thanks!

Place is a joke guy completely messed up my son's brand new bike didn't even tighten nothing, everything was out of alignment then I called to resolve it and the guy gave me attitude over the phone saying it was a cheap bike when clearly nothing was put together properly. Strongly recommend not going there or ever doing business againDear shown, when the bike was brought to us in a very rickety state, after someone's failed attempt at assembly, it was requested, and we attempted to put it together properly. My mechanics soon determined that a a number of critical parts on the bicycle had not been manufactured correctly or were damaged. With the experience of tens of thousands of bicycle tune ups and repairs performed to the highest degree of workmanship in our shop, we did the best we could to work with the bike but a completely proper assembly was not possible. When we looked for the bicycle manufacturer's technical literature and specifications we could find none. We can only find that this brand, "KSDA" (we had never heard of it) is sold on Amazon and possibly Walmart. Unfortunately this is not unusual for this quality of bicycle, and we do get frustrated as we see similar situations all the time. This situation also illustrates the peril of not buying a reputable brand bicycle through a dedicated bicycle shop. In the last couple years there are many new "manufacturers" of 2 wheeled machines who's sole purpose is to take financial advantage of the public's increased interest in cycling, producing low quality products with no service plan for a consumer to turn to if there is problems. Buyer beware. Please.
