The staff at this spot make this place! Stayed for a friend's wedding at Watch Hill for a weekend and loved how cozy it was. Some in-room services (turn down, sheet/towel change etc.) were suspended due to COVID, but it was well explained on an info sheet in our room and we didn't mind. The restaurant on site was great and the staff were super accommodating allowing us to order a quick lunch outside of the kitchen's "normal" hours. We stayed in the carriage house and it is a well sized room. I do have a pretty sensitive mildew/ mold allergy that kicked in and had a noticeable smell in our room and that is the only reason I took one star off my rating. Hopefully that can get fixed because otherwise our visit was fantastic!

Great, clean rooms with cute decor. Service was top notch as well. Definitely overpriced, even for the area, but nonetheless very nice. Continental breakfast was good but the produce wasn’t great quality.

I booked one of the better rooms. Upon arrival, I was told that, because the ac in the nice room was on the fritz, I was getting an “upgrade” to a room with mildew problems and no privacy…window curtains don’t close …drama ensues…this room will not do…you must sort this out… we get the bad ac room instead of underground mildew room, but bad ac room now has drippy ac and no working electricity apart from the drippy ac….!!!! Is this the US in 2022?? Is this high end accommodations in the USA post Covid? I had an amazing, beautiful hotel room in Krakow Poland in 2002, staff falling all over themselves to make me comfortable, for 1/5 the price and 10000 times the joy. This is third world standards at first world prices. Biggest hotel disappointment of my long life.
