I grew up next to this mountain and it holds a special place in my heart. I really enjoy the hike and the woods and it was always quiet, most often alone. Great place

Great waterfall with an easy but uphill trail. There is the main waterfall which is large, and a small waterfall before that one.

My only advice is when you get to a place where there is a choice between going straight or the path to the left go left, the straight path get you there but it is extremely steep and rocky

At the end of Roaring Brook Road where the gate is the sign states that it's private property. I didn't want to go any further until I found out for sure. Is there another entrance? Thank you for any help/advice.

There is a sign with a simple map at the trail head. You are at the right spot.
