Students like to complain about their food. I have eaten in student dining halls in Germany, the UK and the US. When it comes down to food diversity and quality this dining hall is easily the best! No questions asked. The only negative is the somewhat steep pricing but quality has its price and so i am not overly upset.

What can one say about "the Ratty"? The food is decent by college cafeteria standards and the open space makes it friendly and festive. Of course as a returning alum it's all about the memories and traditions

If you can't find parking on Thayer or the streets nearby, you can always park in Brown's parking lot
It is open but only operating at partial capacity giving out brown bag lunches and dinners to the students
