Had a great night going to McCarten Violins to have Francesca sized for a Violin. This place was beautiful and had a variety of Violins to choose from. Highly recommend it. 🎶 🎻

I wanted to replace all the strings for my violin from the wear and I am so so so glad I found this place. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and you can tell he's very passionate about his work. He even cleaned and touched up on my violin that it looks as good as new, which made me tear up on the inside because I've owned this violin for over 20 years but have been neglecting it during the pandemic... definitely will take better care of my violin and I will only come to McCarten from now on for my needs!

Very kind and knowledgeable. I'm studying to relearn cello and he assessed it, fixed a section of the top that had popped off the body, and assessed my bow as well (said it didn't need to be re-haired yet and taught me when I should repair it). Great service and reasonable price. Thank you!

Yes. He is also very reasonable with prices. My daughter owns a cello so can't tell you the cost.
Hi Ann. A complete new set of pegs cost just shy of $100. $75 for labor. $19 plus tax for the pegs. Dennis
My apologies. The hours you were special hours for last week in advance of a road trip to California. Google did not update the hours as requested. (Perhaps I screwed up) I am normally only open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I will be in the shop next week on the 28th and 31st if that helps. Once again - sorry.
