I have osteo, stenosis, and l5, Si1, bulging discs, am medical.. have been going to Dr Chopra's partner, Dr Schneiderman, BUT he recently retired , so I had aot w Chopra.. total disaster.. tile me shots didn't help me, (they always did) had not looked at my chart, received letter that they don't take Medicare anYmore(I have double coverage, top ins), so he can't treat me.. I said that's a lie, shots always helped me.. this is an example of where greed matters more than the oath "DO NO HARM".. office staff changed when Dr Schneider an left.. so can't even get my records.. never call back, sad situation there unless u r long term patient w too ins🀒🀒🀒.. I would give a - 10 if I could🀬

My first visit with Dr Chopra was fine. Though it required a $1,000 personal check written out to him. They don’t accept insurance for the first visit. My initial visit was April 22nd and Dr Chopra said his office would call the following Monday morning to schedule my injections and next steps. I have called or emailed every day they are open since in an effort to schedule the appointment. I finally received a call back today June 7th. They claim it is because of the volume of requests they get and Dr Chopra knows about it. When I asked questions about it I was hung up on twice. At my initial appointment Dr Chopra insisted on hugging me and explained I would be well taken care of. Unfortunately this has not been my experience and I’m incredibly disappointed. I have never written a review before but feel compelled to warn others. It is not worth the treatment of the front office.

Although Dr. chopra is very good at his profession his office staff are terrible. Not only are they unprofessional and rude they lie to cover up their mistakes. I did try to speak with Dr. chopra but he would not take my calls or return my letter. It is unfortunate his staff is as incompetent as they are.

I guess compassion comes with a price as another reviewer wrote if their experience. If you have been in pain for 10 months, FINALLY want to move to manage pain instead of trying to find the ACTUAL CAUSE, most unsuccessfully, then be careful if you want quick response just SETTING an appt. Referral was sent on the 10th, I called on the 13th and they did not have it. I asked about the process and was told that pain management IS covered by MY INSURANCE, BUT to be diagnosed on the cause of the pain is NOT covered and would be $1,000 out of pocket. My PCP office faxed over again. I called later in the week and again was told they don't have it. I called again on the 28th and was told, oh I see you paperwork here. I don't think we take your insurance, Ill have to get back to you. I checked my insurance website and they take EVERY plan listed. I called my insurance to confirm and they said also confirmed that dr takes it and confirmed I am covered. I called back and was told they were waiting to hear from their billing company. Finally just after 5 I received a call and was told NO we do NOT take your insurance. Um...2 weeks ago they did, just needed referral but today they don't. Healthcare industry has to be one of the WORST functioning industry. We as patients must demand accountability and quality, just like we would investigate any other purchase. Reviews are important, please review your doctors to help others. Most importantly, call out those doctors doing an exceptional job and expose those that have a different view of what "healthcare" is, and that it is a PRACTICE. Objective is the improve, learn and grow!
