I contacted CT Pest for a rodent problem in my basement and yard. I opted for a 3 visit plan which I have now expanded to a one year plan for a reasonable additional amount. I was very satisfied with this service. The rodent problem has lessened considerably, this is a problem throughout my neighborhood. The technician Alex explained everything he was doing and how the process works. Very courteous, called ahead to let me know when he was coming. I would recommend this company.

Tom was very thorough, professional, and answered any questions I had. He gave me a full run down of what he noticed which was more activity in the outside bait boxes vs inside bait boxes. Great job thanks.

After doing some home renovations it was brought to our attention that we had a significant mice problem in the attic. Sean from CT pest solutions was absolutely amazing. He was kind, professional, helpful, and most importantly resolved our issue. I can't say enough good things about Sean or this company. We have also used them in the past for an issue for bees. Again the situation was resolved quickly. Highly recommend.

Technician Stoney Brooks went above and beyond to locate the source of my fly infestation - it turns out there was a dead animal lodged in my chimney. Mr. Brooks resolved the situation and thoroughly explained what he was doing and why. He was kind, attentive, thorough, and tolerant of an old lady. I am very grateful :)

While every pest has different, some common points of entry include open doors and windows, holes in walls, siding, or roofing. Certain pests can even enter through your drains or tunnel into your roof to get inside. No matter how pests are getting into your home, a pest management professional should be able to conduct a thorough inspection of the property, identifying problem areas and eliminating any pests present.

Do I have to be home during pest control service?

Whether you need to be present as a homeowner depends on the service you’re receiving. For general pest control and termite control, the homeowner generally does not have to be home. For specialty services like rodent removal, the homeowner will generally be needed to allow the technician inside to treat the problem.

What are the advantages of year-round services?

There are several advantages to signing up for year-round pest control services. Preventing a problem is always less of a hassle than solving one, but year-round preventive services can also save you money in the long-run, especially for destructive pests like termites. It’s also important to remember that while certain pests have different active seasons, pests can be a problem at any time of year - so having a year-round protection plan in place gives you the peace of mind that your home is safe and secure.

Do I really need professional pest control?

Yes. If you’re a homeowner, professional pest control is a necessity, both for preventing pest problems and removing active infestations. If you’re already suffering a pest infestation, it may be too late to deal with the problem on your own using DIY methods. A professional service can target the specific pest pressures you’re facing using tools and equipment not available to the average home or business owner. A licensed and certified pest control professional can also approach the problem with a wealth of knowledge about what pests you’re facing, where they’re commonly found, and signs of activity you might not be aware of - helping you get a better, more effective treatment and taking steps to stop the problem from reappearing. Professional pest control is an excellent investment to ensure the long-term safety and comfort of your home.
