I didn’t even want to give a star. Church was not helpful at all. Pastor John was very rude to me. Waisted my little bit of gas just for him to get smart. When he could have just answered my call and told me not to come.

They have their hours posted online as Wednesday from 8:30am to 10am. They give out vouchers for ohio birth certificates on Wednesday. I got the information from JOIN, and tried calling at 9am to make sure they were still doing that. Got no answer, so went up there anyways. Got there at 9:25am and no one was there. I looked it up again and its hours are posted Wednesday from 8:30 am to 10am. I tried calling a couple more times, and sent a text message. I got a call back at about 10am, and was told the vouchers are given on Wednesday at 8:30am. I asked why his hours say they are open from 8:30 to 10 but no one was there and no one answered the phone during that time. I understand and appreciate the ministry they offer, but am disappointed that they list being open for 90minutes a week. If the person needing assistance isn't there right at 8:30 they don't get the assistance. That is something that should be specified on their literature and on the website.

Hi Will- the Birth Certificate/ID Ministry starts at 8:30am on Wednesdays and runs generally until 10am (or until 20 vouchers have been distributed). Our State ID voucher covers the cost of an Ohio identification card. The voucher does not cover the cost of an Ohio driver's license, nor can the voucher be used towards a driver's license. Those in need must have two certified forms of identification in order to secure an state identification voucher. If you have questions about acceptable certified forms, please visit the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Also- Persons in need an Ohio Birth Certificate can also receive a voucher. Our voucher only covers the cost of an Ohio Birth Certificate, our voucher does not cover out of state Birth Certificates. Those in need must be born in the state of Ohio and have a reference letter from an accredited organization or agency, illustrating their need for the voucher. Only four of these are given. Hello Penny. The church will return to in-person worship when Ohio's Public Health orders regarding social distancing in public spaces is discontinued and its 100% safe for people of all ages to gather in close proximity to one another. Thank you for your question.
