I've stayed here half a dozen times. Usually for a night or two on the weekends while in town seeing family. I've noticed the paper thin walls in the past but this weekend was the worst. The hotel is never this busy and was at capacity with U of M graduation and a wedding party. Friday night I got 4 hours of sleep because the loud bridal party was in the next room. Partying, yelling and screaming until 2am. Tonight it's 11:30 pm and the same level of noise next to me and same rowdy bridal party people. I spoke with the front desk both nights, they said there is nothing much they can do. We'll talk to the management tomorrow and maybe we can give you a discount? Ok, thanks how do I get any sleep in the meantime. I'm certain the decibel levels through the wall would NOT meet minimum sound transmission codes for a hotel. A normal conversation is 60 db a party crowd is from 75-95+. I can hear the conversation clear enough when at the most quiet to make out every word, as it peaks with the cross conversations they may as well be yelling in the room I'm in. It's that loud. I understand it's an economy chain hotel so I overlook the missing shower curtain, limited amount of towels and other minor things I've experienced. The occasional guest in the room next door that carries on a conversation you can barely hear is one thing this weekend it nuts. In addition to the noise, the hot water was very limited this weekend due to being at capacity. Do I have to call the cops to get some sleep? Do I have to report the hotel to the local building department to make sure the rooms meet the noise requirements that I'm certain they don't? I recorded a minute on my phone, it was loud enough to confirm everything I've written and I played it for the person at the front desk.

Rooms were clean, floors vacuumed, bathrooms clean. The room we were in had a jacuzzi in it so all it had in the bathroom was a very small shower which was smaller than the one in my camper. The room was very warm even though we kept the thermostat on 65, so we never used the blankets until the last night when we turned off the heat. When I pulled the comforter up it had a terrible smell to it so it got kicked off and the heat turned back on. This was reported to the front desk at checkout. They allow pets so if you have allergies I would not suggest this place. I would return as the price was good employees were friendly and was clean. They also have a good breakfast.

The hotel was good and the breakfast choices were amazing. Hot Tub was not open, which was a bummer, but we had a jacuzzi room, and that worked great. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was that the bathroom in our room had an odor---similar to a junior high boy's locker room/bathroom..... it was extremely strong. Very weird. Wasn't sure if someone had REALLY bad aim with the toilet, or if a pet had made a mess in the bathroom. (it is a pet-friendly hotel). We only stayed one night and didn't spend that much time in the room itself, so wasn't going to make a huge deal, but did mention it on the way out. (first floor room, looks right out at Wendy's across the street #124). Overall, good hotel--breakfast was well worth it.

Everything was really great. Miss the indoor pools being open though, but that's everywhere. Staff was super nice. Only complaint is that the jetted tub had buildup in the jets and sprayed out. Drain and refilled, it was fine and worked as it should after that. Bed was super comfy.
