If you are looking for a reliable, quality laundromat to wash your clothes in downtown New Haven - stop searching because you have found the place. I want to sing the praises of this laundromat for going above and beyond to help us. We are a military family who recently left New Haven to move to an overseas assignment. Prior to our move we had an enormous amount of laundry to do before our household goods shipment went out but we simply ran out of time and needed help to finish the job. We took multiple gigantic bags of laundry to Howe St Laundromat where Mrs. B saw to all of our needs. In one day our mountain of dirty laundry was clean, folded, and ready for our journey! Thank you so much for all your hard work and thoughtfulness with our clothes. We quite literally could not have done our move without you.

Staff was SO rude I come here all the time for laundry and they always hassle me when I try to get quarters. They'll come up to you at the machine, being aggressive from the beginning, asking to see your laundry. They lost my business today, I was literally buying detergent when she (short girl with curly hair) came up to me and was so rude, demanding that I prove I'm doing laundry just because I only had a small load of stained whites I wanted to bleach. They lost my service.

Nice facility. Just not clean. Machine seals are funky and gross. Please clean your machine seals more regularly.
