When I got there the waiting line was about 8, but once I got in about 10 minutes I was waiting on. First time had fast service.

Well, no one likes going to the DMV so how do you honestly rate them? Just because we dislike going it would be so easy to rate them a 2 or 3 star but if I am HONEST about today's visit, it is a Monday, it was quite busy, yes I had to wait a little while BUT if I am honest I wasn't there even an hour. Because I went around 10am it was fully staffed. Every one was polite. Busy. I am sure dealing with a few jerks but all the employees looked as if they were keeping their cool. I got my tag sticker with no issues ( because I had what I needed) and left. So if I am being fair and honest I must give them a 5 star.

Hard to believe that I have to produce a birth certificate, passport, etc . Just to get a driver's license in S.C.My valid N C.drivers license good for 5 more years wasn't enough. Screw the state I will run with that license till it runs out!

Yes, it's now open to the public and they are fast moving. No so getting your driving record should be easy and or doable

Depending on what state you are in, you will have x amount of time to turn the plates in or if you want to drive the vehicle you will need to pay the taxes to get new decals.
Yes depending how long your permit has expired..if it's been to long you have to take test again..call sc dmv in columbia..for my mororcycle permit it was 6 months I dont know for car permit

I believe they do but they have different lunch times so that they can keep seeing clients during their lunches, it just takes longer during lunches bc there aren't as many working. When I went last week I believe she said lunches were from 12pm to 2pm. Hope this helps!
