This was the worst experience I have ever had. I went to kings bay Y 2 days earlier and asked them if they were doing day passes and the person at the desk said they do for $10 and I said I will come back tonight which I did. I go back and the person at the counter wasn't the same anymore. The person at the desk said they don't do passes anymore. Literally in 1 day they removed day passes. And I asked them how do I get in and they said I should get a membership and I would have to pay for 3 months in advance. Which was around $70. I was not gonna do that when I was only go there for 1 day. Then the person also told me that they had covid restrictions. He told me that we only let people with memberships go in. He never said anything about the capacity. He LITERALLY SAID THAT IF YOU HAVE A MEMBERSHIP you don't have covid. I just couldn't stop laughing. Well it looks like we found the cure to covid. IT'S A KINGS BAY Y MEMBERSHIP LOL 🤣.

Be wary if your child goes to this afterschool program and is a person of color. The staff will make complaints about your child for the slightest things. I I know alot of the staff are people of color but they will cater to "other kids" more than your child. Shirley Charles who runs the program is the most unprofessional coordinator I have ever heard of but never seen. After two incidents she made the decision through another person named Pythadore to ban my child from the program via an afternoon phone call. No meeting, no face to face interaction at all. Two incidents, incidents that normal 8 years have on the regular. Made several attempts to reach out and havent heard back. I'm sure she is probably following orders from hire ups who want to look out for their own.
