I have found Saratoga Family Dentistry to be gentle when working on your mouth. No one likes visiting the dentist but they make it as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend them.

This is Linda, Anthony’s wife. Dr. Singh and his staff at Saratoga Family Dentistry have my highest recommendation for their work and service, which is outstanding! I have known Dr. Singh for a number of years and have found him to be knowledgeable, always considerate of my wishes and concerns as well as very skilled at what he does. I recently had crowns put on my 2 front teeth. I was very concerned about the color matching but was told not to worry- if I was not completely satisfied the crowns would be returned and changed to my liking. As it turned out, the color match was perfect and my smile looks even better than it did before! I am very happy to have found a dentist and staff who have earned my trust-Dr. Singh and all the folks at Saratoga Family Dentistry!

How long do dental implants last?

Saratoga Family Dentistry | Sep 27, 2019

The longevity of your dental implants is highly dependent on how you take care of your dental implants after your procedure. Although dental implants are designed to last upwards of 25 years, if you’re not taking care of your teeth properly then this number becomes reduced. Other factors such as any pre-existing conditions and your overall oral health also play a role in how long your dental implants will last.

How long does the dental implant process take?

From the initial consultation to your first appointment for your impressions and temporary implants, to your permanent implants coming in, this process typically will take around 4-5 months from start to finish. Once the permanent dental implants are in place, your jaw will take about 4-6 months to fully heal.

The most ideal candidate for dental implants is someone who has good oral health. Dental implants require a sufficient amount of bone in your jaw which is needed to support the implants once they’re installed. Healthy gum tissues are also imperative to successful treatment.
