Hard working, conscientious and courteous staff. Owners and management personally greets and have hands on day to day operations. Residents are lucky to have such experienced and caring individuals to care for them during their daily activities.

I’d like to take a moment and tell you my experience with 305 West End Ave. My mother is in the middle throes of Alzheimer’s dementia. She has basically no short term memory but is otherwise largely capable of handling other day to day things. Nevertheless, six weeks ago, it was time to get her into a memory care unit as functioning at home was not keeping her busy enough to be happy. We were referred to Nancy Hays at 305 by Urban Eldercare (Nancy and Tony). I could not be happier. First, the location is easily accessible. Second, the staff – from the front desk (Patrick, Osman, and JC) to the sixth floor (Nancy, Karine, and her team). They know who you are and communicate how she is doing. My weekly visits and four or five calls during the week are well received, directed to her quickly, and when I have requests or need more information the team there handles them quickly and satisfactorily. Third, the place is beautiful. When I was reading other more negative reviews it seemed that they had a renovation a year or so ago, but right now you feel like you are entering a hotel and it is nicely kept up. Hope this helps your decision, and I’ll continue to update this review every few months. Good luck. March 2021 It has been about 3-4 months since my mother moved to the Reflections at 305 and I want to update you on the transition . The transition is of course difficult as she had to learn new routine’s and remembering them is a challenge with Alzheimers…that said, Nancy Sondag and Colleen Curran (and I suspect all the staff) have been incredibly patient and have gone above and beyond. Nancy has supported her with honesty about her short term memory and yet her outstanding ability to participate in the community discussions and events. She also prompted that they keep a record for her so she can refer to it and see she is doing things and people have not forgotten about her. I have taken this tack now as it really helps her understand why 305 is the best place and that she is engaged, welcomed and appreciated there. Colleen has gone out of her way to help me get her former professional colleagues into zoom gatherings, and now she has at least three of these a month with different groups. It is the time I see her smile the most and the thoughtfulness putting it together and continuing it is incredible. Additionally, she arranged a once a week FaceTime visit in addition to the daily calls and weekly visit I make. Finally, 305 instituted a way to send pictures to residents and quick notes…which I haven’t yet tried, but it shows forward technologically adept thinking and personally I appreciate that as this shows it is not a warehouse. And of course the guardians at the gate... Osman, Jaycee and everyone have been most helpful getting me up to speed, arranging my visits and other activities for her. The bottom line is that they continue to perform above and beyond and I safely recommend it.

My family and I were making the difficult decision of finding a place to move our mother who needed assisted living. While we debated keeping her in NY or moving her out of state, Nancy and the staff at 305 were amazingly helpful, supportive and comforting to us as we navigated our way through the process. In the end we decided to move our mother closer to us, however had we kept her in NY there is no doubt that 305 West End would have been her new home. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a "family" of people to help with your loved one.
