May 16, 2022-I would like to update my post...My son and I have been working with the recovery coaches at Mountainside for a couple of months. We are incredibly grateful for their support. Rachel C. never gave up on our son, even when he was struggling. Thankfully he has turned the corner. Thanks in part to Rachel C.. She is worth her weight in gold. And my recovery coach, Tim G. has been there for me along the way, helping me bring the focus back to my well being. Thank you again Rachel & Tim. I have been working with Tim, the Family Recovery Coach for a couple of weeks. He is helping me work on my relationship with my son and also guiding me to bringing the focus back on myself. I feel like he understands my goals better than I do. Each time I speak with Tim I hang up with more pearls of wisdom to fall back on when coming up against a challenging situation. Our family is incredibly grateful for Tim & Rachels’ help. Thank you.

I am the mother of a nineteen year old son, whose addiction led me to a weekly virtual support group run by Mountainside Treatment Center. Until recently, Jesse Wright led the group each week. Being a recovering addict himself, his advise is based on his own experiences, which inspire parents like myself to have hope for the future. Every session he would post his contact information for parents and loved ones to reach out to him when they needed someone to talk to. I cannot tell you how many times this young man has "talked me off the ledge". We subsequently hired him for recovery coaching. My son, immediately clicked with him, as does everyone who knows him, and they developed a relationship over time whereby he could come to Jesse for his concerns and his anxieties. Jesse helped him with searching and applying for a job and schools. He continued to coach my husband and I when we all faced the struggles that go along with the whole recovery process. Besides being an excellent mentor, the most important thing I could say about Jesse is that he TRULY CARES. He is a good hearted person and he has helped my family immensely through this journey. I can't say enough about him. Highly recommend! If I could give six stars, I would!

I would be giving Mountainside zero stars if it weren’t for Rachel Clarke. I nearly left about a year ago after working with the other coaches but I decided to give one more a try. Rachel has been like family to me over the past year and I am so grateful for her and the way she caters to my needs and supports me. I only meet with her once a week and yet I feel like she is with me for every step of my recovery journey. Something I never felt in the slightest bit working with the other coaches. I will be two years clean on the 23rd of March, 2022 and I credit Rachel with a tremendous amount of my progress. Yes, I put in plenty of work on my own and whenever I felt down or unmotivated, Rachel pushed me to my full potential. I never felt confident achieving my goals before Rachel came along and she has equipped me with the skills to push myself when other people aren’t around to help. Mountainside is so lucky to have her and I look forward to pushing my recovery to new lengths in the coming years with her.
