For well over a decade of seeing a doctor at Comprehensive Counseling the doctor is retiring. Instead of switching to another doctor in the practice I get when an assistant confirming my very last appointment with the retiring doctor that I am on my own. No correspondence from the company or anything. Extremely unprofessional but it doesn’t surprise me from this group. They are after the money not for the mental health of their patients. While the administrative staff and doctors are friendly and professional the owners/senior staff are not. They claim the can’t get doctors but in this should tell you that the doctors don’t want to work for this group. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else because all they want is your insurance number, cash, check or credit card number. Update: As you see below it took them over a month to respond and give a generic answer. If they cared I would at least gotten a phone call, email or letter. Only Dr. Zaretsky sent a letter advising of her retirement which we wish her the best.

The receptionist and the social worker are not the best. They recommended to go else where if the social worker was not helping. But expressing there is was something wrong with me. That’s insulting - it’s a dehumanizing was to treat a returning patient. Just to defend their colleague, she lost ethics. Someone with a really mental condition would have insulted her or been violent towards her. If I request a different social worker, there isn’t much to it than to the patient feeling comfortable about sharing their thoughts and emotions on their life. The social worker yells more than discussing. I have graduated college, I brag about my stressful life. It’s annoying to deal a Social worker or receptionist that are not adjusting to the patients preference.

Terrible therapists that are incompetent And have never been helpful. Avoid therapy here and rely on friends and family, find a different clinic.
