Great place for a hike!! However, I think they need to warn people with a sign out front, that there's dangerous, life-threatening wild boar, along the blue trail. Also, coyotes February through March is coyote mating season and male coyotes get aggressive at this time of year- to watch your pets. There's Bobcat's & Panthers.....go during lighted sunshine times, bring a air- horn with you. Do not crouch down, keep your pet near you on a leash. You're more likely will encounter coyotes over Bobcats. coyotes ambush in packs. Be mindful & keep your guard up, and you'll be fine. DO NOT BRING LITTLE DOGS UNDER 50lbs IN THERE AS THEY ARE EASY PREY.

This is an excellent state park. There is an extensive trail system with descent signage. There is excellent wildlife habitat and dense vegetation. There are several parking spots for about a dozen vehicles. There are restroom facilities. Overall worth a visit.
